Beachbody is launching P90X3 in December of 2013. When I talk to people about it, most think that it will be too hard for them. While I haven’t done P90X3, I have gone through P90X and P90X2. I also have some information on what the program will be like and how long each workout is.
First of all,P90X3 is not a graduate program meaning – you don’t have to do P90X2 first, in fact you don’t even have to do P90X first. P90X3.
There are 20 workouts. Each workout is 30 minutes long and the entire program is 90 days. The basic idea is that a lot of people would have tried P90X but felt the workouts were too long. Also, research showed that the majority of the progress made is during the first 30 minutes of a workout. The theory is also that one is more willing to push harder since it is for a shorter length of time.
I myself kept my pace slower in the beginning so that I could last longer. With a shorter workout, I can and will push harder.
